With my Psychology degree from the University of Alberta, I spent a number of years working in senior management at a Crisis Centre. Here I honed many skills that serve me well as School Trustee, including:

I truly did not expect to use my Crisis Communication and Crisis Management skills to the degree that has been required over the past few years. This background and experience has been instrumental in navigating the recent challenges.
I have attended additional Professional Development on Adult Education Training, Leadership Management, Active Communication, Employee Engagement, and Human Resource Management. I also completed the Leadership Edmonton program.
